Established in 1965,Kendriya Vidyalaya no.1, Kota has proven a landmark in the field of education in Kota.The school is located at near by Army Cantt. Kota in its two storied well furnished building having a plinth area of 15 acres. The school has educational facilities from First to class XII and is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Education. Admissions are open to all. As per KVS guidelines seats are filled in category wise on a priority basis. Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, all Kendriya Vidyalayas follow a uniform syllabus.Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kota is a ‘Miniature India’ in itself and tries to inculcate in its students feelings of Patriotism, Brotherhood and National Integration. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kota is sponsored by Army.
