PM SHRI SCHEME
The cabinet approved a total budget outlay of Rs 27,360 Crores for PM SHRI Scheme for five years. These funds have been allocated for the development of new model schools as well as the upgradation of more than 14,500 schools into exemplar schools, starting from 2022-23.

Beneficiary oriented entitlements under RTE Act (Maths & Science Kits)
Annual School Grants (Composite School grants, Library grant, Sports grant)
Early Childhood Care and Education including Balvatika and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy
